Dr. Raitt's particular fields of interest are musculoskeletal diseases and the evolving technology that focuses on ways to avoid age related illnesses. He practiced at Menlo Medical Clinic as a primary physician for 35 years.

He and his wife, Elaine, have three children, two sons who are also physicians, and a daughter who is an environmental energy consultant. Dr. Raitt enjoys tennis, dry fly fishing, teaching and jogging.
